The I-495 Corridor Transportation Study is being conducted by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation, Office of Transportation Planning. The purpose of this planning study is to evaluate and address transportation issues in the I-495 corridor through the Merrimack Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization and the Northern Middlesex Metropolitan Planning Organization regions. A full range of alternatives will be developed and analyzed, and based on this analysis, a plan for both short-term and long-term future transportation improvements will be recommended. The study officially began in Spring 2005 and runs through June 30, 2008. The final report has been completed and can be found in the documents section of this website. Your input is encouraged!
